Q. Client's DOB 29/06/1970. Using the State Pension Age calc on gov.uk website shows state pension age as 67. Voyant shows 68.
A. The software will attempt to calculate the state pension age and can usually do so accurately, however, Voyant only does full year calculations and there are some cases where the state pension age changes after the first few months of the year. In addition, there is no direct connection available to pull precise pension forecasts from the State Pension Service.
In those cases where the state pension age is incorrect, you would need to manually override Voyant's assumption. Further information can be found here.
