Step 1: Add the S Corporation as a Company
From your client’s Dashboard, select (+) Item → Company
2. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., S Corp-HoneyWorth, S Corp).
3. Choose the Owner(s) — typically the client who owns the S corp.
Select "Done".
Step 2: Add Business Income
Go to Dashboard → + Item → Income → Other Income.
2. Name it (e.g., S Corp Income).
3.. Select the S corp owner as the recipient.
4. Input the amount of income the business generates each year.
5. Select "Done".
Step 3: Add Shareholder Distributions
Go to Dashboard → Company → Company Distributions
2. Select (+) Company Distribution:
3. Enter the Amount:
4. Ensure the "Timing" is correct for the distribution:
Step 5: Review in Cash Flow View
Go to Dashboard → Year View → Cash Flow.
You will see the Business owners income listed as "Return of Capital from S-Corp HoneyWorth"
The business itself will not show a “net income”, instead, it will be listed under "Not Displayed in Chart".
