FAQ: Why is AdviserGo Timing Out?

The most common reason for a timeout is inactivity. Voyant is programmed to automatically log users out after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you return to AdviserGo after a longer break and find that you’ve been logged out, this is expected behavior. This timeout period is a security measure and cannot be extended or disabled.

To avoid being logged out due to inactivity, you can periodically refresh the AdviserGo page, which resets the session countdown. After 28 minutes of no server activity, a warning message will appear, and you can click to extend the session. The session will reset to 30 minutes with any server call.

What if my plan is timing out while I’m actively working?

If AdviserGo logs you out while you are actively using the system, there may be an issue with the specific plan you’re working on. In this case, we recommend sharing the plan with our Support team so they can review it.
