In today's training, I will be showing you how to do a what-if scenario where you model an early mortality event of a client to see how that will affect their overall plan.

From your dashboard, go to the What-If button. At the bottom, you will see Change Life Expectancy. This will create a copy of your base plan in which you can adjust the life expectancy of a client.

Currently, this client has mortality events at age 92 and age 90. I am going to take Ryan's mortality event and model him passing away at age 65.

Click through and confirm the change. Yes, I do want Ryan's mortality event to be modeled at age 65, leaving Linda's in place at age 90.

I do want to keep this plan. You can now see that with an early mortality event, there is more shortfall in the plan starting at Linda's age 73.

This would be a good opportunity to have a conversation with your client about options that could help mitigate this risk in the event of an unplanned mortality event.

I hope this was helpful. If you need assistance, please reach out to us by clicking on the name of your client and selecting Request Support. Enter your message in the text box, then Share Client Access, and we can take a look at your client's plan and provide guidance.

Thank you for listening.
