Q. Why is the plan showing income from employment during a critical illness?
A. Unlike a Disability event, which models income protection, or Mortality, which models the client's death, both of which would end the person's employment income, we don't assume that a person's employment income ends at critical illness.
The individual could be critically ill but still working or receiving employment income. If, however, you want to model that employment ends with critical illness, change the employment income’s end event (the Timing section) and select Critical Illness as the end event that shows employment has ended.
Alternatively use the Steps functionality to step down and up the income at different events in the Pre-retirement years.
