At present the software only has the facility to model jointly owned property or assets as owned 50/50 i.e. in equal shares.
To model a joint property or asset owned in unequal shares, enter the property/asset as two separate properties/assets, each individually owned in the relative proportions.
An example:
- A couple own a rental property worth £1 million, with rental income of £60,000 pa. It is owned 40% Mr, 60% Mrs.
- Enter a property owned by Mr with a value of £400,000 and a rental income of £24,000.
- Enter a second property owned by Mrs with a value of £600,000 and a rental income of £36,000.
