To generate a report open the client record, and then click/tap Reports > Client Reports on the menu along the top of the screen. Click here to see how to Manage Report Sets.
The following screen will appear (the reports available may vary):
1. Select which plan you wish to generate the report for from Report Library > Select a Plan dropdown
2. Click/tap on each report you wish to generate for that plan.
Click/tap on the report(s) you wish to generate.
The selected plans are highlighted in green. Mouse over each report name to see a description of the report. Click again to remove the report from the selection.
If you have previously created Report Sets, it is possible to select at this point.
3. If you wish to generate the reports for multiple plans in a single report, go back to 1., select a different plan from the Select a Plan dropdown and then repeat 2.
Again, its possible to Select a Report Set.
4. Review the list of reports in the Review, Configure & Generate section. The green button shows the number of reports selected.
Click/tap on this to expand and view the reports.
Click/tap on the List Button (3 horizontal lines). You can change the order of the reports selected by using the arrows.
Click/tap on the Traffic Light Button (3 vertical dots). Select Delete to delete a report which is not required.
Click on the Preview option to see a description of the report.
Certain reports can be customised through the Configure option.
If you have included the Financial Summary report in your list, you can click Configure to select the chart, Insight results, and Goals to include. For more information on the Financial Summary report and how to customise it click here
Notes can be added for each report.
These Notes will appear at the end of each generated individual report under the section called Adviser Notes.
By default Detailed Reports display the details for each year in the plan. It is possible to Specify Timeline. Specific years can entered in the Specify Timeline field, individual years or stages can be selected on the timeline or select the pre-set Every 5th Year or First 5 Years buttons.
Different years can be selected for individual reports. If you want to choose the same years for each detailed report selected, click/tap on Apply timeline to all detailed reports.
Once changes have been made click Save to save the changes.
It's possible to export the data and images by selecting Export Options > Export raw data and images.
The information will go to your Downloads folder. Open the zip file- go to Tables > click on the folder long name > open the .csv files to view the table details. Alternatively, click on Charts then click on the folder long name, then open the .png file to view the chart.
Certain reports can be generated in Real Money. Click/tap Use Real Money. The reports that can be generated in Real Money will then show this symbol.
Tip If you need to remove all the report selections made click/tap Reset Selections
5. Once you are happy with the list, click/tap the Generate Report button.
6. The report will generate as a PDF document which can be saved and then printed or attached to an email.
Tip - if you need the document in Word format, you can convert the PDF document into a Word document as explained here.
7. You can also view recently generated reports by clicking/tapping View recent reports in the top right corner of the Reports screen. The recently generated reports can be downloaded or saved from here. Generated reports can be viewed here for around 14 days.
8. If you are not yet ready to generate a report you can move around the plan and come back to the reports section and the reports selected will persist. They do not persist if any changes are made.
