How to save a reusable report set in AdviserGo

A report set can be easily saved on the fly in AdviserGo and at any point it can be easily cleared, edited, and resaved.

The Reports screen is normally populated without any preselected reports, as pictured below. There are exceptions. Users who are allowed to generate reports on the behalf of others will see a configurable cover page at the top of the list of selected reports. 

Click Manage Report Sets

This will take you through to the Configuration Page to create your Report Sets.

Click on the + Button. Name your report set and then click in the boxes of the required reports and click Save.

This will then move these reports to show under the Order Sections so that you are able to amend the list/remove those from the list or preview the reports before generating. 

If you are happy with those reports, Click Save and this will save your Report set.

 

Please note, the reports selected will only relate to the particular plan that you have selected and will not automatically populate for any subsequent What-if's linked to the plan. You would need to select the next plan, click on the downward arrow with Select a Report set and choose the Report set to apply those reports 

If you want to Edit your Report set or Delete that particular Report set you would click on Manage Report Sets which will take you back through to the Configuration Screen.

In this screen you will see your Personal Report Sets and/or your Subscription Report sets and then by clicking on these you will be able to edit the reports/delete the reports or delete the report set.

The  button will allow you to add more reports to your report set as shown under Report Set Name.

 

The  button will automatically delete the report set that you have showing under the Report Set Name.

The delete button shown on the individual report field will delete that particular report from the report set.

What is (and is not) saved in a report set in AdviserGo?

Reports can contain sections from various selected plans (the base plan or what-if scenarios) within the client case. The report set will apply to the plan/scenario you are presently viewing, as shown top right. The report set serves as an initial default set of reports. You can still remove reports, rearrange them, add additional reports, or add reports for different plans if needed.

Most selections are retained in a report set. Reports and the order in which they are arranged are saved in the set as well as options for downloading report data and images and outputting the reports in real money, both of which are highlighted below.

When/If you select 'Use Real Money' the reports that use this function will show with a money sign next to them. These are some of them below;

Special options to Customize certain reports, such as the Financial Summary, will not be saved for reuse in the report set, the assumption being that these settings are selected on a per-client basis.
