In this video, we will be discussing how to enter a debt into the Voyant software.
From your dashboard:

Click the plus button in the bottom right corner and select Debts and Loans, then Debt.

You have several options here:

For mortgage debt, enter your mortgage details.

If you have any properties in the plan, you can link to an existing property.

For this example, we will enter credit card debt:

Select Revolving Credit Card.

Name the debt Credit Card Debt.

Let’s say Tom has $15,000 in credit card debt.

He is making $400 monthly payments, and he doesn’t know exactly when he’ll pay it off.

Set the balance to $0 for when the debt is fully paid and click Done.
Once entered, you will see the debt reflected in the Assets versus Debt chart.

You can also view the Debts Chart to see the credit card debt being paid down over time, with an expected payoff date in 2027.

In Details View, use the slider bar to see how the debt decreases year by year.
