Using Plan Attestation in AdviserGo
This guide explains how to use Plan Attestation in AdviserGo to formally record that a financial plan has been presented to a client and to preserve that plan exactly as it was at the time of presentation.
What Is Plan Attestation?
Plan Attestation allows you to:
- Record that a plan has been presented to a client
- Lock the plan so it becomes read-only
- Preserve the plan exactly as it existed at the time of presentation
- Optionally attach a Voyant report to the attested plan
- Maintain a clear audit trail showing who attested the plan and when
Once a plan is attested, no further changes can be made to that plan.
What Happens When a Plan Is Attested?
When a plan is attested:
- The plan becomes read-only
- A banner appears in the plan confirming its attested status
- The attestation is recorded with:
- Date and time
- User who performed the attestation
- Any attached report is saved and marked as attested in Recent Reports
This helps ensure compliance and accurate record keeping.
