The Financial Summary Report is an overview of your client's current financial position and can include Insights into achieving their goals.
Click on Reports
Select the Financial Summary from the list of reports available.
The 'Financial Summary' report will highlight in 'Green'. If you click the 'Financial Summary' tab again this will deselect the report.
Click Review, Configure and Generate which will show in a list, all of the reports that you have selected.
To customise your Financial Summary report, click on the 3 dots that appear at the end of the report entry. Select Configure
If you want your Financial Summary report to show the different asset colours under 'Chart type to include' ensure that you select 'Cash Flow - Detailed' from the list.
For example, selecting Cash Flow - Detailed;
The default is 'Cash Flow' which shows a positive (blue) /negative (red) chart only.
For example, selecting Cash Flow;
Select/Deselect the goals and/or Insights that you want to appear in the report.
The Notes field is a free text box that you can type in and this will appear at the end of the report under 'Adviser Notes'.
When you click 'Save' this will close the customise screen and take you back to the report selection screen.
Click 'Generate Report'.
How do the Insights work?
Each of the Insights you can run separately from the report in the Insights section of AdviserGo.

You cannot edit the timings of the Insights in the Financial Summary Report, this is intentional, it’s to give an indication only. In the report they default to the following timings:
Annual Savings- Start to first retirement event
Investment Returns- Start to mortality
Retirement Spend- From the start of the retirement stage
Lump Sum Savings- First retirement event
Life Needs- Start of the year 2
